Barak Diskin is an established Southern California entrepreneur with experience in e-commerce and real estate. Since 2015, he has guided City Storage Systems, LLC, as founding partner. Previously serving as head of operations for the company, Barak Diskin moved into his current role as real estate head in 2018. He has created an expansive network of CloudKitchens food preparation facilities across and 400 locations in 25 countries. The delivery-only business model ensures high efficiency and throughput, with quality food prepared on-site and efficiently distributed to local residents and workers.
Mr. Diskin earned a BA in finance with a real estate minor from the University of Miami, graduating cum laude. He obtained a California real estate brokers’ license and served Decron Properties Corp. as acquisitions and development associate for three years. He next took on a role as co-founder and board member of MeUndies. His team focused on underwear logistics, creating a subscription-based platform that paired dynamic designs with a worldwide customer base.
Over the years, Mr. Diskin has worked with venture capital partners to grow businesses. In 2021, his efforts enabled CloudKitchens to reach a $15 billion valuation, with major investors including Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF0 and Microsoft Corp. He also maintains a strong community presence and has been a food drive volunteer with the AIDS Project LA.
